Structure and features
Our plasma compressor case cutting machine mainly consists of the main unit (cutting equipment) and an industrial dust collector. You can choose to purchase the entire machine, or just the main unit and connect it to your own dust collection equipment. The Host part is made up of control panel and main chamber, please check more below:
Control panel centralizes all parts, enabling operators to set specific cutting parameters and control machine start/stop, reaching an easy and accurate cutting for different sizes of compressors. Although there are many buttons and a display screen, do not worry, we have manual user and professional team to help you.


Working chamber is the core area for plasma cutter operations, It has four clamping jaws and nozzle part in a sealed enclosure with a transparent observation window, the gripper is driven by pneumatic force gripper, keeping a safe isolation during the working process while allowing for real-time monitoring of the operation status.
Industrial dust collector
Industrial dust collector is connected to the main unit via pipes. It is mainly used to collect dust generated during the cutting process, preventing environmental pollution and making sure our plasma compressor case cutting machine meets global environmental standards.

Background: In February 2025, an American customer ordered this plasma compressor case cutting machine from us. Below is a test video we recorded in the factory before shipment.

As you can see, the operator simply places the compressor correctly into the machinethe cutter, and it automatically cuts through the steel casing in approximately 15-20 seconds. The cutting efficiency is 3-4 times than traditional blade-cutting equipment. Also the enclosed design keeps labour's hands away from the cutting area, guarantee high safety. Obviously, whole cut is fast and precise, and the internal copper windings remain intact, providing strong support for subsequent high-value recycling.
How to Work
Step 1: Turn on the industrial dust collection equipment and ensure the dust removal system is operating normally. Place the compressor in the center of the rotary table and use the gripper switch to firmly clamp it.
Step 2: Control the cutting nozzle to rise or fall until it reaches the desired position.
Step 3: Press "start" and "enter" to enter fully automatic cutting mode. The rotary table rotates at a constant speed, and the plasma cutting nozzle adaptively tracks the cutter, requiring no manual intervention throughout the process.
Step 4: After cutting, the nozzle will stop immediately to avoid waste and will automatically reset. Switch the gripper control switch to the "release" position to remove the compressor with its outer casing cut open.
Advantages:
1. The position of gun head can be set, realizing adapative handling different compressors.
2. Arc voltage detection and control is carried out through intelligent CNC and servo motor, achieving a whole inspection during machine working.
3. The distance is automatically fine-tuned, so that the gun head can adaptively follow the appearance of the material for cutting, and can stop immediately after the material is interrupted.
4. Pneumatic force gripper ensures clamping jaws a continuous and stable clamping force (users need to bring their own air pump).
Note: When compressors are uniform, there is no need to frequently set the gun head height. You can cut more quickly.
